If you’re looking for an outfit that is a perfect balance of comfortable & stylish, a tracksuit is definitely a must cop. The beauty of the track suit is the uniformity and balance of it. Because the top and bottom are meant to be worn together, they provide a perfect distribution of color. Yet the ability to separate the bottom and top allow you to add either half to whatever outfit you want. Tracksuits are especially accessible because most of them are sold with the top and bottom together for lower collective prices than if you were to purchase coordinating top and bottom separately. One thing that I noticed when looking for tracksuits for myself was that most of them carry a primary color along with one or two accent colors. The fact that tracksuits usually sport 2-3 total colors, they allow for variety accessorizing to match such a color scheme. Because of this, articles of clothing like your hat, gloves, wristwear, socks, or shoes are all accessories that when matched with a tracksuit’s colorway can add to the cohesion of the outfit. Keep in mind that a track suit alone is not an outfit. The ability to take the tracksuits base and combine it with complimentary additions is what creates for a complete outfit.
I got this top and the matching bottoms for $40. The thing that drew me to this track suit was the pants. The accent colors on the sides of the legs were too fire for me to not purchase. When taking pictures with flash on the sides of the joggers illuminate from the 3M lining. There is a great selection of track suits from brand new to vintage on Depop, Poshmark and Grailed.
